Thanks all for the helpful comments. After a Friday restoration the connection lapsed again Sunday early...just as I was about to start my taxes, which I truly need the internet!
Back up again this afternoon and immediately set about the task of tax filing. Maybe a post re gaming coming up.
Keith, The wires on my street for service were installed in 1990. Service guy said we are getting upgraded to fiber optic line this summer. Hopefully we hold out until then with no more loss.
