Front Rank and Calpe Artillery

 Recently our local hobby store ordered from Gripping Beast some metal figures. I took advantage of the timing to get an Austrian and a Prussian 12 pounder batteries.  The batteries represent an increase in firepower as neither army in my collection contained twelve  pounders.  

The Austrians are first in queue,the Prussians will be up as they near completion.  A few touch ups on the mistakes and missed details and they will be ready for basing. 

 I won't be able to show them with the guns just yet.  You see, after 20 years, my bottle of Austrian has dried. Maybe Army paint has something close over in their yellows section.. I am going to go look. Be back later.
