The the wrap up for '25 and the first stab at a project list for '26

Someone who has a blog started already on late in the year gaming,  so I didn't feel like I was jumping the gun ......

I had been thinking about what emphasis to put on the next year to year and a half. In defense of attempt to get several projects done and be able to launch a few new projects.

In keeping with the lure of shiny, new projects include traitors gate, a version of Chicago Way for Peaky Blinders , some piracy mebbe.  The nice part is that these are what to play, not buy.. which  means the lead pile will continue to slowly get smaller even while the plastic pile is growing.

So in no particular order,  the games I want to play include:

AD 1666. With painting less than a dozen figures to go. Finally the few unplayed scenarios to be tackled.

1941 using 20mm and 15mm. No, not at the same time. Just jumping to most complete collections for battles. Mostly using for rules  Command Decision-ToB and Blood Red Skies.

Napoleonics- maybe the monthly 300 plus figures on a side kind of  game.  Lots of Austrian and Prussian units to finish and field. I do have a pipe dream that I have been putting forward with some local players,  something 1813 and complicated.

In the Sci fi games will include Galactic Knights,  Battle Tech AlphaStrike,  and perhaps some Stargrave. Rumors of a campaign booklet.

VSF ....Provided our local group has settled on a setting,  something for rules,  what is vsf?.

In reality I  think Silver Bayonet and Alpha strike are the most likely to be played. Just saying that is the most popular.

Also Saga and Pillage are the newest rules to try. So many plastic figures to finish.

The Blitzkrieg based games are on the back burner for now.  Just  a lack of  momentum on my part.

You are really planning ahead! I am still working on how to wrap up this year. Hopefully, I have more games and painting ahead as the year ticks down.

Sounds good, tempted by Stargrave but I think I need to focus, well at least a bit!
