Lots of comments!

Since 2011 this place has been a great way of saying I paint therefore I am. A lot of  ideas and the first steps to a lot of projects have come through here.  The journey to today was fun and I hope you enjoy the upcoming posts.

I think I have decided to extend the Carlist Wars project into the Isabellinos leveraging off of my good friend Greg's additions.  more to come on that later.

Light Cavalry from Isabellino

faction of the Carlist Wars.

So nice I show it twice.

After to a trip to the Perry's website  the idea for Skirmish units in hat or Shako or stocking cap, Guard versus line center company versus flank company gives me a lot of variations before I start any close order troops.

That helps doing skirmish games before building larger units,  since I only have five or six infantry units and Cavalry and artillery for the Carlists it should not be too much to replicate for the Isabellinos.  This is important because I already have plenty to paint.

So to all of you saying that I can not give up on the era. Thanks.

VSF will be featured in the games this year.  I have been considering the antics of a mad scientist

Also looking for a good entry into using CHOCOLATE BOX WAR for probably solo games set in an alternative Balkan area. I have Prussian and some Austrian and French forces,  a few details square away and the fun can start.  After I come up with an OOB for what I already have, I know a trip to Nick at Northstar is in my future.

A last addition to my list of things to do.
