Snip, cement, prime and paint -April so far

It's not all grass rolls and sunshine, ya' know!

I should add in shuffle and search as I go through old boxes for strategic finds, and computer issues.

28mm Victrix Islamic cavalry

Perry 28mm sailors dragging ?

Two AD1666 heroes for possible selection.

Calpe 1815 Prussian artillery

Islamic Cavalry, not sbout coming was a topic of bio-engineerinf

Some Old Glory Shipyard 25mm projects ID'd from the "deep stock things to be done later group."

Basically, illness and suffering have curtailed the Friday Old Guys (FoG) activities for the better part of the year so far. Coupled with an unseasonably cooler March and early April, yard work has also used more time than planned.  So the 1941 Barbarossa play has come to a stop until the generals return to duty at the front.

I have a few units in the hopper, with 1813-1815 Prussians and VSF Hinterland troops in the spin cycle which seems to be my painting queue. Specifically the blue grey I envisioned for the duster style coats on the Hinterland figures is proving elusive.  The Prussians are simply Calpe figures...never a quick paint, but oh so worth the time.

Add in the last 20 or so of the AD 1666 figures for a push over the next few weeks and some Victrix medieval plastic sculpts, the effort slows at times but the results still please me.

On the imagination front, several recent initiatives by players are in the middle of the beginning and hopefully will lead to some interesting projects over the rest of the year.  If nothing else I am obtaining an updated list of player preferences.

Great variety on the production line, Joe, I will be interested to see what you do with the Hinterland figures in particular.

Keith, Glad you liked the various toys. I am going to feature the Hinterland figures in several threads. They will be a contingent in the " Chocolate Wars" games I will play later in the year, they are also a force in VSF games, and maybe some In Her Majesties scenarios as well.

They also will get an entire map and country atlas to participate in an Imagination soon.

A few projects are coming to an end. The summer will see fewer projects with more figures i each project.
