October 16 game and what i really did during the week.

Just when you  think you can finish one project.  You must do something different.  Despite thinking the month would be all about the end of month game, the Halloween themed trotting out of the War of Ozz,

The month has shifted gears for me. This last dependable week of 'prime' weather rumbles to an end.  I have accelerated the build program in my 400 cavalry project. Yesterday's activities included a run to the art store for some of the cement for styrene plastics.

There are quite a few to assemble, yet, and a bit of bits organizing (  sorry, leaving it in ).

You can gage the seriousness of the endeavor by the presence of the glass of water as lubricant for the afternoon.

Plans are for some Allied units as well

So, there is a box for the Austrian one for the Prussian units and possibly some 1813 Hesse Kassel units as well.

Sorting out the bespoke Chevauleger from the Dragoons.  There will be a couple Chevauleger regiments and four Dragoon Regiments. There are two boxes of Huzzars by the Perry's as well, but I think I will start them after the helmeted cavalry units are done.  So the Hussars will remain in the retail Boxes a bit longer.

Once the Austrian cavalry units are identified,  the attempt will be to utilize the remaining figures for conversion.   Should take the remaining figures to build the various Prussian uhlans, landwehr  cavalry  from the photos on the Perry's site and one of the German 1813  smaller principality 's cavalry units.  Also is the Wurzburg Dragoons and mounted command to be housed in the set of boxes.

Yeah, I know,  this will be awhile. Good news is, three of the Really Useful Boxes holds 144 of the 28mm figures on the 2 inch square bases. That's nearly half of the 400 figures in the backlog of the to be painted.  As long as I don't succumb to a new period.

We did get a practice game for our Halloween themed event,  but I will save the few pics for another time.

Well, maybe one.
