Dog gone week

 Introducing our new family member, Valentine the dachshund. 

She is 4 1/2 pounds ....and very stubborn.  

 


 

 So I am behind in posting, painting, sleeping.  She is worth it!

She's adorable! Puppies are cute but a lot of work the first few months, but after that they are your best friends for life!

She is a handful, but already in our hearts. I am,several times a day, impressed by how smart she is.

Having owned two dachsies at different stages in my life, I love the breed. Yes, they can be stubborn but great companion animals. Have fun with her!

In 8 days she has sit, 'no', come (at least to my wife), and rings a bell as part of her ritual for relief. Knows the name of her favorite toy. We kind of took the plunge with her, and came up very pleased indeed. Can not wait for snowmelt and lawn to show so she can enjoy something beside winter.
