You knew it was coming ...happy New Year!

From the land of unfinished business.  The omnipresent end the year post.

Hope that all of your Christmases were jolly & bright.  I have read of some disconcerting holiday happenings, may the New Year be better!

I cannot regale you with lots of finished units or clever AAR'S  at this point. Holidays here are not like that this year it seems.

I am making progress on the Hartwell_Tavern build,  and have primed the new Grenadiers for the Battle Road project. The 24 Grenadiers will combine with the 18 lights to form the column portraying the Crown forces. Next phase of procurement is to get lots of militia. And finish the numerous windows of the kit!

  Grenadiers, primed.

  Lights, WIP

  Playing with dice(holder)

On the WW2 air front, the P40's are here, also primed. January is scheduled for Blood Red Skies  and these fighters allow a wider range of operation time as both the P38 and P40 models spanned pretty nearly all the early and mid years of the war.

 P40's but primed only

Imaginations notes, sane readers may stop here.

There are no photos here, anyway.

On the imagination campaign,  the year end intelligence apparatuses have been tasked for the year end reports.

The cavalry arm in Hanover is getting new light Dragoon units soon. Brunswick continues to struggle with the vegetable hordes. Arquady and Bayerische are having border disputes.

The Merchants League commitments at sea and the colonies are keeping them busy. Scania has paused its forces expansion but is looking at new units in all three arms this year.

Orbajosa is quite content for the moment,  the silver  from the plate fleet being absorbed.  The basque province's bid for independent rule is ongoing.

S 'Gottland,  Fuddland and Dahara remain in combat.

The components of the dual thrones have expanded their forces.  Kaiserliche has raised six battalions of line and is close to the addition of a Dragoon unit. Konigliche,  not to be outdone, has a new regiment from Pomerania, and adds the second battalion to 24th line .  A Uhlan regiment has also been raised

Matt and Ray, thanks for the kind words.

Jonathan, the lights are Perry miniatures and the Grenadiers old Glory.

And here I thought Connecticut was the Land of Steady Habits! :-)
Orbajosa has been in a persistent Vegetative state (after all, most of the lead characters of the state have vegetable inspired names!), although fortunately the depredations of the ambulatory veggies have been limited thus far,

As for plans for the proceeds of the Plate fleet - etes es secreto del estado!

Lawrence, I will be doing several WIP updates, they are great kits.

Keith, you will see several Battle Road reports as I build and paint everything.

James, yes, that is how I still work. This will include an imagination update to you soon.
