Magic moths and Russian Bombers

First off, an extra class of airplane to the Russian Airforce.

A Blood Red Skies entry, six planes make this box makes the faction permit 12 fighters and 6 bombers to be in a scenario. The Pe-2 was a dive bomber and occasionally level bomber if  the need arose. Obviously needs some paint and some background,  something for a later post.

Friday also marked a Silver Bayonet game,  with better terrain this week.

There was a clearing, with signs of the prior occupants. I think the in camera party is Greg's. The stumps denoted the path in the scenario.

The whole enchilada.

The forces have moved,  are now on the on the start of turn 4. You can see the grizzly next to the Light green tree in the center of the photo. Roger's company is mainly on the track, While Greg's show is on the left.

Greg's force has been subject to the sleep inducing mystical moths, but also closed in on three of the clue markers in the game.

Slightly later in the game. The bear is a rug, Roger has revealed the penultimate clue on the table and the two groups are breaking off contact. Both adversaries are happy and unwilling to make a couple extra points by conflict. Both players have wounded party members. We take a break from the rules next week.  There will be a guest player with Barry, from Barry's Redoubt,  bringing his planes for a game of Blood Red Skies..

I was wondering where the moths came in! Thought at first it was some weird Russian nickname for the plane!

Nice aircraft, and the game looks interesting. I may have to look closer at Silver Bayonet.

Matt, Dean,Neil,Ray-
The game was fun, I did feel better about the terrain.

Dean, If you are ready for skirmish battles with a twist of horror, it is time well spent.

Keith,
you will be pleased on a how to article and then a battle report using Blood Red Skies, both of which should hit soon.
