June progress in painting, Major push in assemblage prep and priming

Thought the mushrooms were coming, then they're here...

... And now, their carrot cousin.....

Quick find at Renfaire, an additional resource for the Land of Ozz scenarios.

No painting required!

Can it be too good a thing to to say they're is still a lot to assemble?   I have separated the parts to the 4th quarter build by unit type.  Nearly 250 cavalry await roughly. 250 riders and 250 mounts. The numbers indicate  a major effort over the next few weeks to organize the plastic parts into unit rather than type; this will allow the production of several units of 'conversion ' units from the Austrian Dragoon/ Chevauleger box and Allied Napoleonic Dragoons box.

This definitely will cut down time for me to indulge in the 'little things'

                    Bugs, Mr Riko,  bugs!

One of two hornets, test colors.  The model is one of only rwo, Wings visible but not attached quite yet.

June has netted more projects,  some skirmish games through the new kits from Victrix.

First of a few Arabic style units.  Assembled from that wave of Victrix releases.

Also in the deployment scheme, some Wargames Atlantic  Prussian Reserve troops. So much plastic, so little time.

No Green Hornet? This is a neat model. Is it fragile?

Keith, yes some projects are me reaching for my players, some are long by definition as in my Austrian Napoleonics, some are portions of projects which had been taken off the " must finish " list. In other decades I was more focused.

Iain, the Allied cav box from the Perry plastic has one command spue, which is two figures, and 12 troopers. there are three types of head and headware..
Russian Dragoons and Chevauleger, Prussian Dragoons. I saw the conversion work on the Alled cav to various units. There are coats for Russian litkwas
