Two (posts) in a day

A couple of quick pictures of our Armegeddon games at the Arcana Hobbies store  on Friday afternoons.
Above, Roger's IG squad makes several shots at Greg's orks.
In the rear, more orks and grots come forward.  (Sorry that this is a little fuzzy!)

We do manage to have fun in 60 to 90 minute games, pick up and get back home in time for dinner.

So far, my Tau squad and IG squad have made minimal progress towards the 15 canister goal.  Roger is doggedly advancing with his IG canister  by canister.  Greg's Orks are gaining a few and his Chaos Marines have made good use of canisters by hiring special operatives and replacing a couple of key casualties.  Life is hard in the underhive!

We made chili this week, That means a tank farm is in the pipeline for a terrain piece.

Those pink bases are, umm, unusual. Cool games. I always enjoyed very small scale 40K games.

The bases are a pale red in real life, the florescents and the flash push the color towards pink. That said, Greg's bases are quite often bright, he has a lot of lava themed stuff. If we were on a planet with a different spectrum shift, these might appear grey. ;-)
We are finding Armegedddon a lot of fun, lots of old figures get to play again.

Behind the AAA office, corner route 10 and 372 in Plainville. About 1/4 mile from the I-84 exit.
