I try to keep the blog to mostly hobby stuff.  But I have something to share.

Today I got fitted for my first ever  pair of hearing aids.  on the way home I heard Billy Joel play the "Root Beer Rag" on the radio.  Wow, much better when you can hear the 'sparkle' in the notes.

I tried my first hearing aids at age 15, and got my first one in Medical school at age 24 (hearing loss courtesy of Measles as a child); the new generation ones I got about 2 years ago were a quantum leap over the previous ones! Glad they are working well for you; the longer you wear them the more you will adjust to them.

Thanks, Peter....I know you've had them 'awhile.' Third day in, they are working well. Dinner out & a car ride with a soft spoken grand daughter in the back seat were good tests.
