End of April and the beginning of May

A lot of activities that will show up soon, both modeling and painting.  Several units have small amounts of work before they are finished.

This does not extend to the Carlist figures,  painted in the mix of the magpie.

Almost all the less uniformed troop castings ,  and a mounted officer.  Add in some rebasing and the cannon and the Carlist  command will be done soon.  They are to be used in a rule study for Rebels and Patriots.

There is a 4 man artillery crew, 4  mounted officers and six skirmish figures remaining.

AD1666 is also able to get a few new friends on the table.

No Friday game this week. Rather a Saturday game of Warzone , Photos to follow.

Spring is a busy time for many of us. Finding time to sit down and hammer out a blog post can be challenging. Heck, even sitting down at the painting desk for a meaningful session is tough.

Jonathan, I agree. My best painting progress has been the wee hours 2 to 5.

Not sure I have ever painted at 2 AM, unless I just couldn't sleep, perhaps. early morning, mid day, evening and late at night, all of those for sure! :-)
