Space ships for scale
Recent purchased grass colored table runners. Six feet long by Eleven and a half inches wide, sort of a deep pile soft plastic grass. At our local " Dollar and a quarter Store " ( ok, I mean The Dollar Store).
Even the idea of a long seam has got positive possibilities. Roads, rivers, draws, gullies can be paced in between rolls. Rock walls, small buildings, many regular other items that are replaced or being made into obstacles to movement across or up and down the length of the table. Total for three rolls, $5.00

In between I have been working at the clutter in the study, painting area. Getting some what closer to what I want, but some work left to do before it's done.
The end result will let me use the drafting table, for experiments in drawing, photos and printing. Assuming the printer is up to speed.
What would Friday be without a game? A nearly same adventure as last week in the Galactic Knight universe.
The Captain finished the Acknowledgement of Orders from Space Force Command. A Carnivore force of Cruisers and smaller ships that had savaged a squadron commanded by the Battle Cruiser Shiny Penny had crossed into Terran claimed area. Protect the local bases and settlements, take revenge for the " Shiny Penny's " honor.
Commodore Hopper had read the order as well, deciding which ships deployed nearer or farther from the enemy, coincidentally sealing each crews fate.
Next up, the rematch.
