Carlist Cavalry unit
Merinos' Cavalry , 1st Carlist War. Red hats and yellow coats, these folk's are not slinking about at all.
I am experimenting with mounted units that are not in the time frame for Napoleonic rules used and are representing eras with small action games to come.
So the oval or pillbox style base, figures singly mounted sand coated and army colored base will be shown, for troops beyond 1815; while the Austrian/Prussian/Russian units to follow in the coming months will be on 2x2 bases as in the past.
All eight figures
Leader up front, as it should be.
The light box was helpful with these figures, I expect to keep improving how I use it.

L finally get to small brigade size this coming year. Thanks for the mention of the bases, they are the first using the ochre scheme. I agree that the uniforms are great in this era.
. In this case Army Painter speed paints were helpful.
Lovely to paint
Lawrence, glad you like them.
