Third in a series--'Egypt campaign in Silver Bayonet '
After a two week hiatus, the Friday old guys ventured into the first underground adventure of the series in the competitive campaign. Due to other gaming commitments ( mushrooms ) no obelisk were ready so proxies were used. Got caught up in the game, did not take photos ( gulp ) of the action.
I did manage to paint the fellows in the gang, though basing is not finished. The scenario set up was amended to allow for three groups to be on table at once, two groups entered on one side while the third entered the opposite side.
The game just started and then the area was heavily populated with 'were jackles ' and revenants. Desperate situations occurred for both Roger and Greg's bands, with two or three band members becoming heavily wounded and only concentrations of three soldiers probing effective .
My band generally did not have to deal with hordes of undead things....the muskets of the opposing player, Roger, were bad enough, reducing one of my men to a single step from death. Luckily a door was found, the needed exit from the arena of death. Without hesitation the Captain led the way out.
Some of the show & tell offered up.
A gift for, me! Danish Grenadiers at camp. Thanks, Greg!
