Recent addition to Midway library

Picked this up from Noble Knight , had credit after a sale of some old sci fi figures. 

 

 The Flat Top and Midway games are featured, Midway is the star  The Midway, Coral Sea., Leyte Gulf scenario rules and maps are provided, and a hypothetical very late 1942 scenario is  presented.  Te information fills a lot of holes in many of the scenarios. I think we can revisit at least Coral Sea as a mini-campaign .  

According to the intro page, AH had sold over 100,000 copies of the game Midway from 1965 to 1978.  That explains why so many people I knew had a copy. 

 

No games this week and the painting is very slow.  We have had to postpone the  Yorktown game as the AC in the store broke down during the heat wave.  Add that to some household chores and the time for June is all done . 

Next post up is Chosen Men plan, now that we have partially trained on infantry, on to the mounted arm.
