Descent into Battletech Alphastrike.
You've been playing this a long time was the comment by another player. Actually I have been playing this for only five weeks, say I.
I will admit to being impressed with the rules and support of the company and the users local and on line..
We were trying for 6 players, due to work and unexpected guests two players had to bow out.
We tried to make a concerted effort to play with the largest practicable game and wrestling scheduled for 6 players each with 800 points. Last minute the game changes to four players with the 800 points each. I set the table (we used a 4 foot x 4 foot) and set up a recon mission. The defenders held the buildings, the attackers not only had to id the tech but all.
Some photos,the slogging match that was the first three turns. We played three turns, by the end of the fourth turn the right hand group of forces would have to move off baoard.
We tried out battle field support cards, everyone was happy with their experience. A few other tweaks are needed to scenario design but as a group expectations are similar.
I am going to work on the background and color scheme for my force. The Atlas is a possible scheme.

The Yorktown scenario is still on for the 31st!
Air units have decals applied. The USN fighters are all sporting stars on thier upper wing surfaces. I kept going with P38's and B26 and next steps will be the torpedo and dive bombers.
