Well, it was fun!

A grand tour of new painted stuff, a deeper dive into the Battle for Germany game. and two border raids played out.

Busy afternoon! Barry was first to arrive,  within ten minutes everyone had entered the drive and been greeted by the Dachshund,  Valentine.  The first portion of the afternoon was devoted to a couple swaps of lead and plastic,  then on to show and tell .

Roger had a War of the Roses command group

  and a Mk III

as well as an Opel truck

 a KV2 in Finnish livery.

Barry showed off a piggery, printed from a web source, I forgot to ask details.

Roger is also populating his country with civilians.

The high point  of the afternoon was the Declaration of War on Fuddland by Daharra. More to follow in the next post.

I especially like the Piggery!
Dahara to be at war with Fuddland? It is already engaged with Konigliche, and there remains the matter of the position of Kaiser...

Pretty cool Piggery, an unusual piece. Was it 28mm or 15mm?

Dave, the piggery was in 25mm, 28mm even. Barry will have a debut on his blog about the model.

Peter, Technically the Twin Kingdoms and Dahara are at peace, at the cost of a bridge and some riverfront property. The Electoral College machinery must grind through another election, the Kaiserliche (Ostreich) rulers are expanding the Army, the Prus are on track to do the same. The increase in forces is intended to reduce dependence on contributory units by Electors.
Evidence that Dahara is not taking the raids lightly is shown in the rhetoric of the Declaration of War, which should be on Roger's blog soon.

Did I mention ths that the Basque counties are revolting?

"Of course they are revolting; aren't they always?"

I, too, particularly like the piggery - and I recognise all the civilians as veritable Front Rank figures circ a early 1990's - but still available today!

Peter,
Interminably revolting. They cry out for a firm hand my Roi!

Keith,
The piggery is the winner. I believe Roger did get the figures on a Front Rank order, although in the last few years!

Joe, et. al thanks for letting me crash the party last Friday. It was fun.
The pigsty is from 3DEgos.com on Etsy. It probably won't see much table time, but well worth the $5 or $6, in my opinion.
