Imagination Campaign's June 1804 turn heats up. Supply lines and ship borne battles.

This is gonna show a lot of maneuvering for the imagination campaign as I attempt to bring June 's move to an end.  There are some explanations of the mechanics used, but mostly I have outlined what happened on the ground for the three commanders.

The Eastern theater first, where the retreating S'Gottland main body slowly approaches  the repaired line of communication.  Smaller actions are being reported by the shores of Lake.... and the environs near border areas as Cossacks range in search of ...well, mostly Plunder.  They are Cossacks,  after all. A brief but sharp action occurs when a nascent installation just by Lake.(26A6).. is put to the torch. Interesting among the plunder were the tools from the start of what looked like a gunboat slip and lumber mill.

Without giving away much, East Fuddland and S'Gottland nearing the end of June.

The focus of the Western province of Fuddland finds the retreating Daharan column under General Plessman under pressure from forces General Badenov's army. Daharan forces landed a small force on the coast of 20B  north of the main port. Local forces are moving to engage.  Several reports of actions near the northwest corner of the Great Forest are straggling in to headquarters for both Dahara and Fuddland.

Coastal areas of Daharra are reeling from reports of seeing lights in the sky,
strange smells wafting from privies and things making noise in the dark.

But the biggest surprise of the day is the deployment of elementsof the Daharan fleet and the landing of a force on the island of ( 27A ) Davik. Early reports of "We are gonna need a bigger boat," are supplemented by claims of a successful landing of a battalion of Daharan line, the Daharan combined Marine battalion,  some supplemental guns off loaded from sloops in the covering naval contingent.

Davik Island and local coastal area,
Daharran raid reported on Island location small square 4 or 5. .

 Reconnoitering in the dunes,

a terrible thought strikes the Daharan patrol leader.

The reports of landings on Davik Island expands the involvement of nations in the recent unpleasantness to include Scania,  the owner of the island.  A report of the situation is being prepared by the Davik Thing for the meeting of the Thing of Things which is rumored to be called to discuss the situation.  There, news like that travels fast.

The garrison units of the Island and Province of Davik comprise local militia units and two Jager battalions.  Oh, I suppose naval landing party types would supplement both sides.  Any committee or administrative body in Scania is called a 'Thing.'  There is normally a descriptive part of the entire name.  Naval Thing, Royal Thing., Foreign Relations Thing.
