A small project

This is gonna be a challenge.  Epic scale Eastern Woodlands tribes...in resin that is clear.

Why? Best reason,  because.  The local store,  Tabletop,  has a small campaign to make use of the Epic scale ( 13.5mm?) Figures that are ready to play.  The concept is clever, 6 players, three teams representing the colonies in New Amsterdam,  Connecticut, and New France.

The Eastern Woodlands tribes are allied to the New France player.  The tribes are 3d printed and will consist of 8 or 10 stands in skirmish order.

First attempt to prime.  Gauche used, thinned with water. Mounting putty holds the figures. I rarely use putty but the thought of popping out the mini's from glued on anything gave me reservations.  Using tweezers to put the figures in the putty.

At least there's only about 20 of them.

Baby steps, pants or torso skin color tests.

Let's see if speed paint works here.  Kinda, but the details are frustrating. My eyes literally "wash out" and I can not see any details.

It's a simple scheme of flesh,  leather, face paint, wood with metal details. The challenge is that I have never painted smaller than 20mm, except for some WW2 Italians, and that was almost 20 years ago. There's more colors and on smaller figures for this project.

15mm Italian light flack from circa 2007.

Totally different but easier on my eyes, new RPG book. Looks like a very good idea

After Mansions of Madness, there are hundreds,  at least dozens  of scenarios for this.
