Imagination 1803 News: Borders prove porous; words by diplomats heat up; second incursion noted; Basque villages in turmoil

 A raid by Cossacks into S'Gottland has been confirmed.  Patrols of local militia are sending reports as conditions change. Several Sotnias of Cossack raiders have been seen crossing the border with Fuddland.

It is rumored that Col. Exorcisti has returned to southern Dahara in an attempt to repeat last season's raid. The raid is in progress and will be reported on as events unfold.


The series of diplomatic challenges between Orbajosa and Dahara are revealed.

From Ortbajosa:

Gonzalo I Cebola, el Rey de Ortbajosa, expresses his shock at this explosive turn of events. He has directed Don Carlos Inocencio, the Foreign Minister, to summon his counterpart from Dahara for urgent consultation. 

From Kardeef of the Daharan  government:

We cannot send our Foreign Minister to consult with Don Carlos, as he is very busy. We will however send the following.We do not stab people in the back. We will stab in the front so that we can look into our enemy's eyes as we do it.That means we will not blow up leaders.

In other news-

Reports of villages from both S'Gottland and Orbajosa attempting to switch allegiance to the Basque enclave have been received. Normally divided, the Basque entities seem to be coalescing  around a new leader.

It would appear stability is threatened, and pointing to another reason for the unrest...the seasonable temperature has brought the fields of battle-a/k/a the banquet tables in the garage, into availability for play.

Ray, It only took me 30 years to figure 'paint' in Microsoft . The remembering to save the original as master was another duh moment. Thank you, I am glad for the comments, we should get a good story out of this one.

Keith, both raids will result into a day of table top activity.....the original idea for the imagination campaign, turning molehills into mountains. I have some ideas for some scenario chrome this time and both invaded parties are interested in playing the raids out.

And we can use the garage as shed without resorting to gloves and everal braziers of charcoal to be comfortable.
