The Peasants are Revolting aftermath to part 2

The respective camps received their disgruntled and wounded during the waning hours of the day.  Both commanders pondered the next move.

The S'Gottland commander was only partially successful in keeping the basque  militia units together,  His own forces had concentrated, the swivel gun-wagon and other guerilla unit made it back after the easy conquest.

Unexpected was a sizeable group of guerillas sent to reinforce his efforts.  His force now actually numbered more than at start.

The scene at the Orbajosa camp was different. The regulars were split the two arms blaming  each other for the early setback in the battle, both taking credit for the end game of a draw.

The Colonel had his spirit lifted when a small column of reinforcements were spotted just a couple hours march to the north.  His force would be stronger than at start. This is a good thing, as the presence of locals taking up arms was concerning.

However, his hussars had proven themselves and his infantry was solid. Tomorrow's operations would be more successful, especially if the militia units can be dispersed.
