First Wednesday of the year.

A couple play aids for our micro armor games:

Artillery plot table layout sheet.

Yep, an SPI blank sheet, or at least an 8x11 portion. This will help  determine where artillery missions are plotted, each hex corresponding to a 4 inch map hexagon.

Tracing paper, drawing pencils reduce the numbers of sheets needed for too big a scenario.

Modern Artillery pattern strike  play aid. Within each 4 inch smaller repair of the grid

Simply follow the grid, pick out impact squares, battery, fire!

These may seem nit-picky, but the proliferation of indirect artillery units will be more manageable.

Looks like a storm  will mess up our Friday game. We were to play some AD1666, here are some recent efforts.

For AD1666 game use:

Nightwatch

Poor photo, but I see some errors in the painting as well.

Spanish faction Hidalgos (commoners)

Spanish faction heroes painted so far

Sancho, Barretero, El Capitan, Don Quixote,

And some W I P, two female characters to back up El Capitan. More on  them later.

More intriguing additions. Maybe the snow will be gone by noon...

Forecast up our way sounds like snow through noonish, 3-6 inches. The bother is this means a three week hiatus of gaming. At least FTF Games.

Shame about your game Joe....don't think we gave ever had to cancel due to weather in this neck of the woods! Look forward to seeing more of your AD1666 figures too.
