 2022 saw a slower than normal figure output, I don't have a good conversion from micro armor to 28mm equivalent.  SO:

Done; not only a meal and presents but a karaoke  marathon over 90 minutes long. Nope, no photos, so...did I really sing House of the Rising Sun?

I will report on an idea to use the Flat Top game as a scenario generator.

Happy to report that a little research reveals that we have the resources to put together a short set of scenarios   based on a hypothetical PT boat squadron in the Pacific Ocean near the Soloman Islands and northern New Guinea.

We will probably use Cruel Seas as the mechanics for the actions. We all have the base game set.  Greg has all sorts of Japanese based  shipping models, Roger has most any large ship ( DDE and up) for fleet confrontations. where we will use a different set of rules if they come in to play. The hexes on Flat Top are scaled at 20 miles to the hex; PT boats have a range of approximately 260 miles when traveling at 35 mph. So a two hex per hour map move, a group of PT Boats  going no more than 13 hours is the basis for surface actions.  The aerial reconnaissance and combat  will be handled in the Flat Top session.

 

I had a nice surprise in that a delivery was made in two days from the order, more on that next post.

 I ordered a copy of Rebels and Redcoats  as several of your blogs  and some great threads on The Lead Adventure Forum featured the rules.  Only having Dragon Rampant and Pikeman's Lament I was intrigued by the rules for that slice of table top actions at a company level. 

A quick run through of the rules  suggest to me I can use them in at least three small projects, and possibly in our imagination campaign.

I was pleasantly surprised, I ordered the above fro Brigade Games website on Wednesday, the 21st; the delivery came Friday the 23rd about 9am! Lon's outfit is in New Jersey. A couple hundred miles in this weather two days before Christmas. Pretty good service.

And I did not forget to photo the Swedish 12 pound artillery battery with basing completed. Honest it's just too late now to put all this up. 

This is the easiest part. At least after the phone and computer did their thing. In all their basing.
